#1 Youth Leadership Program in the World: WAVE: We All Value Excellence

DECATUR, Ga. - March 29, 2021 - PRLog -- Many students are having a hard time coping with the impact of the pandemic. Students are reporting increased stress, anxiety, and depressive thoughts. Many students a overwhelmed with fear and worry, have difficulty concentrating, disruptions to sleeping patterns, decrease social interaction, and increased concern about their academic performance.

As a result, leadership coaches Dr. Nicole Rankine and Mr. Cedrick LaFleur launched an evidence-based youth leadership development program for students in 3rd - 12th grade to provide strategies that close the achievement gap and enable the students to meet the challenges of academic success during this time.

WAVE exists to help school districts accelerate the academic achievement of all students, particularly the low-performing and underperforming students and to improve students' values, ethics, and character-driven leadership. WAVE provides interactive and engaging student development programs to ensure students develop the skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed for effective communication, leadership, and positive social change.  The Elementary curriculum is also available in both English and Spanish.

The WAVE program addresses topics such as:
Leadership Lessons
Goal Setting
Decision Making
Stress & Time Management
Working with Others
Conflict Resolution
Engaging and Empowering Others
Cultural Competence
Managing Groups
Program Planning and Evaluation
Leadership and Service Learning
