Widen to present a four-part webinar series for people new to digital asset management (DAM), switching DAM systems and about to implement a DAM system
PRLog - Mar. 17, 2014 - MADISON, Wis. -- Widen Enterprises, a leader in the cloud-based digital asset management (DAM) software industry, will be hosting a series of free DAM educational webinars in March and April for those looking at DAM for the first time, switching to a new DAM system and those about to implement a DAM system.

Businesses large and small create a great deal of digital content, ranging from logos and product images, to large audio and video files, to help promote their brand. Collecting, managing and distributing those files in a fast and efficient way is the job of DAM software. The process of an organization getting educated on DAM and searching for the best solution can be full of pitfalls. Widen will be presenting four separate webinars that will focus on the buyer’s journey and what to know before you start implementing a DAM system.

These four webinars will be broken into two groups. The first two webinars are titled “The DAM Buyer’s Journey Series” and will walk through the four core phases of the journey, including strategy, research, justification and evaluation. These phases are highlighted in one of Widen’s freely-available educational tools, The DAM Decision Toolkit. The goal is to orient those new to DAM with the right way to go about procuring the best-fit solution.

The second group of webinars are titled the  “What to Know Before You Go Series.”

They will deal with what you need to know before you launch your DAM solution. The goal is to prepare those about to implement a DAM system with all the considerations of being ready to go. Based on another of Widen’s freely-available educational tools, titled the Admin Playbook, these two webinars will orient those about to implement a DAM system with key administrative functions within the Widen Media Collective, and things to prepare for and consider before beginning the implementation process.
