ITEM 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure
On January 10, 2007, Taitron Components Incorporated (Taitron) issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors declared an annual cash dividend of $0.10 per share of Class A Common Stock and Class B Common Stock, payable on January 31, 2007, to shareholders of record at the close of business on January 22, 2007.
Taitron also announced that the Board of Directors intends to establish an annual cash dividend of up to $0.10 per share on its Class A and Class B Common Stock for a period of five years. The payment of future cash dividends under the policy is subject to the continuing determination that the policy remains in the best interest of Taitrons shareholders and complies with law and any agreements Taitron may enter into applicable to the declaration and payment of cash dividends.
