New Jersey American Water Enhances Customer Service Center in Lakewood, Creating Jobs

CHERRY HILL, N.J., Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Beginning December 1, New Jersey American Water's Field Resource Coordination Center (FRCC) will operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year providing support to New Jersey American Water customers and workers in the field. New Jersey American water has appointed a five-person management team comprised of employees who have been promoted after many years of experience in the company. Additionally, five new employees have also been hired to help staff the newly restructured FRCC.
Customer support services include after-hours dispatching and coordinating of company personnel, customer liaisons to the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, customer advocacy, and handling special billing and collections, among other responsibilities. These functions will now be run from Lakewood, NJ. Additionally, New Jersey American Water's time critical support (i.e. after hours emergency response) will also be handled from the Lakewood facility.
